These applications require Microsoft Access Database Engine to be installed on the computer.
In most versions of the Windows operating system, the Microsoft Access Database Engine has to be separately installed. To do this, run the accessdatabaseengine_x64.exe file from the \\Support folder of the KOMPAS-3D installation package.
In addition, the file accessdatabaseengine_x64.exe can be downloaded from the Microsoft site:

Attention! If your computer already has a 32-bit version of MS Office installed, installing the 64-bit version of the Microsoft Access Database Engine can cause the MS Office suite programs to become inoperative due to bitness incompatibility. |
