General information about configuration of display parameters |

You can configure display parameters for the model and its parts (components, solids, surfaces, operations, faces, etc.). The following operations are available:
•setting the display color — for all objects,
•setting of optical properties for a surface (shininess, transparency levels, etc.) — only for objects which have a face (faces),
•texturizing — only for objects which have a face (faces).
These actions are performed using the Parameter Panel elements. The set of elements depends on the selected object and the process in which this setting is performed.
Setting of display parameters is available:
•during creation/editing of an object — color and optical properties are set; setup elements are located in the Displaying group of the Properties section.
•when working with parameters of a selected object (see section Parameters modification without launching the object editing process) - color, optical properties, and texture are set; the adjustment elements are located in the Color section,
•when editing an object properties (see section Properties of a model and its objects) — color and optical properties are set; control elements are located in the section (or group) Displaying.

When working with components, note that configuration of display parameters is only available for components of first level. |
Object display parameters (except for a root object of the Tree — a part or an assembly) can be set manually or transferred from other objects. It depends on the chosen Method of setting parameters. Display parameters of a part or an assembly are always set manually.
