Examples of objects exclusion from calculation |

Example 1
After building a sequence of derivative elements, you need to proceed to the construction of other elements that are neither connected to the existing elements nor intersect with them.
You can exclude the existing sequence from the calculation, following which the time of rebuilding the model when creating new elements will be reduced significantly (the system will not check the mutual intersection of all elements and calculate the intersection lines).
When the required elements are built, include all the elements into the calculation. Control of their mutual position will be performed only once.
Example 2
When forming a flat image of the model (for example, its isometric projection on the drawing or a halftone image in the catalog), it is required to show a model cutout (for example, 1/4 cutout).
1.After creating the model perform a trim by sketch.
2.Save the model file.
3.Create the required image of the model.
4.For further operations with the model (for example, calculating its center of mass properties or transferring the model to an application that forms the control program for process equipment), exclude the section operation from the calculation.
Example 3
An assembly model of a product contains a subassembly component. The finished product should not comprise certain subassembly components.
Exclude these components from calculation in the current assembly model. Components in the source file of the subassembly will remain included into calculation.
If the product requirements change, you will be able to include the components into calculation or to set state inheritance (Included/Excluded) for them from the subassembly source file.
