To choose the spiral plotting method, press the corresponding button in the Tracing mode group in the Spiral section on the Parameters Panel (see table):

Set the number of revolutions of the spiral in the field Number of revolutions (the number of revolutions can be non-integer). Specify the Spiral height. |

Set the spiral pitch in the Step field. Specify the Spiral height. |

By number of revolutions and step button is absent in the group when constructing a flat conical spiral (see section below). To return the button to the Parameters panel, you must set the height of the spiral other than zero. |
Plotting a flat conical spiral
You can plot a flat conical spiral. To do this, when specifying the Spiral height Select a method By distance
and specify a zero height value. The step of the spiral will be laid in the reference plane, not perpendicular to it.
