Setting grid curves |
Scroll |
The curves forming the grid are specified for the U and V directions. After you run this command, the group of elements Direction U becomes active on the Parameter Panel. At a minimum, for the direction U, the following must be specified:
•two curves,
•one curve and one point,
•one curve and two points.
If you need to define objects for the V direction, activate the Direction V group. For direction V, you can define nothing or define the following:
•one or several curves,
•points (if they were not defined for direction U).
The list of defined objects will be displayed in the Curves (U)/(V) field.
If you need to add a contour to the list of objects, you can build it without leaving the command (the objects included in the contour should be already included in the model). To build the outline, use the Build the outline
button. After this button is clicked, the process of creating a contourstarts. Complete what is necessary for plotting process and click Create Object
. The system will go back to creating a surface by grid of curves.
The specified objects can be swapped in the list, deleted, and so on. For this, use the buttons to the right of the Curves field. For description of buttons, see the table.
