Choosing point coordinate type |

Values read from a data file or from tables of modifiable variables, may be interpreted as rectangular, cylindrical or spherical coordinates of points.
Select the type of the point coordinates for data interpretation. To do this, press the relevant button in the Coordinate type group of the Array parameters section:
Rectangular,
Cylindrical,
Spherical.
Points for specifying instance positions will be constructed in the coordinate system of type selected.
When changing coordinate type, coordinate values are preserved – they are assigned to the coordinates of type selected.
If coordinate type change is performed while the Table of modifiable variablesdialog is open, then you can:
•save coordinate values – assign current values to the coordinates of the chosen type,
•recalculate coordinate values – alter current values according to chosen coordinate type.
Choose the required option in a dialog that appears when you change coordinate type.
