Values of the properties of the product and its constituent parts will be displayed in the BOM after the document is attached to it. The values of the properties of the product are displayed in the title block of the BOM, and the values of the properties of the constituent parts are displayed in the BOM table.
Depending on the document type, its properties may be configured in different ways.
•Ways to set the values of the product properties:
•drawing: editing properties using the Properties command,
•assembly, part, fragment: editing properties using the Properties command or creating an external BOM item.
•Ways to set the values of the constituent product parts properties:
•drawing: creating and editing BOM items; the properties of the inserts (fragments, macro-elements, views from other drawings) can also be edited using the Properties command,
•assembly: creating and editing BOM items; properties of solids and components can also be edited using the Properties command.
