When creating/editing an object, you can copy parameters of another object existing in the document into that object.

Step-by-step instructions

1.During creating/editing an object, call the Copy properties command. The subprocess for copying parameters will launch.

2.In the document graphic area specify an object which is the source of parameters. The system will automatically return to the original process. The parameter values will be propagated.
If you need to change the parameters source object, invoke the Copy Properties command again and select a different object.

3.Perform the necessary actions to create/edit the object and complete the operation by clicking the Create Object button on the Parameter Panel header.
The object will have the same parameter values as the source object.

You can terminate the subprocess Copy properties before specifying the source object by clicking Finish button on the Parameter Panel header. In this case the system will return to the object creating/editing command without copying the parameters.

Notes on Copying Parameters

In model documents you can copy parameters only between elements of the same type (for example, incision parameters can be copied only into an incision but not into a bend). To select the source of the parameters to copy, you can specify the object itself in the Design Tree or a primitive belonging to it in the graphic area (a vertex, an edge, a face).
Notes of copying parameters when performing some commands.

Cap corners

You cannot copy parameters in the following cases: if the list Corners is empty; if in the parameters source operation the corners have different parameters.

If the Unified Parameters toggle switch is set to position I, the parameters are copied to all items in the Corners list, and if set to position 0, they are copied to the current item in this list.

Shell Ring

The segmentation parameters are not copied if the parameters source element has the Unified Parameters switch set to position 0.

In graphic documents and sketches you can copy parameters between objects of different types. Copying is done according to the following rules:

the Current line style parameter is copied among all objects which allow changing the line style (for example, the circle line style can be copied into a line segment, an equidistant line, a wavy line, a brace etc.);

the Text Style, Font Parameters and Paragraph Properties parameters are copied among all objects which contain text and allow changing the specified parameters;

some parameters are copied only between objects of the same type (for example, the type of a leader line arrow can only be copied into another leader line but not into a dimension).
