Macro-element editing mode |

You can edit the macro-element in the macro-element editing mode. To switch to this mode, double-click the macro-element or select the macro-element and run the Edit macroelement command.
After the command is invoked, the mode icon
will appear in the graphic area of the document.
In this mode, you can:
•edit individual objects within the macro-element,
•create new or add existing objects in the macro-element,
•create, move or delete the defining point of macro-element,
•add or remove the leaders of macro-element.
In the macro-element editing mode, all the remaining document objects are unavailable; they are displayed in the graphic area using the background style.
All objects created in the macro-element editing mode are automatically included into the macro-element.
To exit the editing mode, click the mode icon in the graphic area.
Examples of editing graphic macro-elements
Example 1. Excluding an object from the macro-element (without removing it from the document).
1.Switch to the editing mode of the macro-element you need to exclude an object from.
2.Select the object to exclude from the macro-element and select Cut to put it to the clipboard.
3.Exit the Macro-element Editing mode.
4.Insert the object from the clipboard using the Paste command.
The document will contain the macro-element without the excluded object, and the object itself.
Example 2. Splitting a macro-element into two macro-elements.
1.Switch to the editing mode of the macro-element you need to split.
2.Select the objects for the first macro-element and run the Create macroelement
command.
3.Put the new macro-element to the clipboard using the Cut command.
4.Exit the Macro-element Editing mode.
5.Insert the macro-element from the clipboard using the Paste command.
The document will contain two macro-elements instead of one.
