You can add and delete sections during text editing of the document or in the Document Tree  (See Figure).

Adding a section

While editing the document text

, invoke the Insert — Start of section command. At the current cursor position, a new section will start from the next page. It is separated from the previous one by the caption Section border (it is visible, if detailing display is disabled).

The new section has the format and detailing of the previous or subsequent section.

In the Document Tree

Click Section Start at the top of the Document Tree. The new section is added after the current section and inherits its format and detailing.

Select the section before which or after which it is necessary to create a new one and from the context menu fetch the Add section before or Add section after command. The new section is added to the specified place and inherits the format and detailing of the selected section.

If necessary, change the section name — for that, select it in the Document Tree and press <F2>; configure the format and detailing of the section's sheets (see section Selection of the detailing and format).

Deleting a section

While editing the document text

Place the cursor at the first and last positions of the current section and press the <Backspase> or <Delete> key, respectively. The break of section is deleted, and the contents of the current section are merged with the previous or subsequent section.

The resultant section has the format and detailing of the first of two merged sections.

In the Document Tree

Select the section in the Document Tree and press <Delete>. The section is deleted together with all the contents.

Existence of the text document without sections is impossible. Therefore, the only section which remained in the document cannot be deleted.
