KOMPAS-3D allows you to create the following conditional designations:
•designation of surface finish,
•designation of the datum surface,
•arbitrary leader lines,
•leader line for stamping designation,
•leader line for marking designation,
•a leader line for reference number,
•a leader line for designation of change,
•geometric tolerance designation and placement of surfaces,
•an arrow of view direction,
•cut/section line designation,
•leader element designation,
•centerlines,
•designation of center,
•circular grid of centers,
•linear grid of centers,
•designation of conventional intersection of objects,
•wavy line of break,
•jogged line of break.

To label a designation, you can specify an object for both the current view and the view which is not current. In the latter case, the view automatically becomes current once you specify the object. Designation is labeled in this view. On labeling an arrow of the view direction, the cut/section lines and leader element designation, the view closest to the designation being labeled automatically becomes current. If views are overlaid one on top of another, then make the required view current prior to labeling a designation. |
