Setting up the colors of displaying the document elements and system elements is performed in the Color scheme settingsdialog fetched with the Settings — Parameters... — System — Screen — Color scheme command.
Document elements – elements constituting the document contents. These elements are created by the user: curves, points, hatches, dimensions, designations in the graphic document; solids and surfaces in the model document.
System elements – various construction elements which may be present in the document window (a grid, phantoms, labels near the cursor, etc.). Besides, the color set for system elements is used for displaying the following objects:
•selected and highlighted document elements,
•enlarged cursor,
•background views and layers,
•view frames,
•frames displayed on the screen on selection of objects and on enlarging the scale with a frame,
•designations of coordinate systems in the the graphic document and in a sketch,
•dimensional frames of bitmap objects, etc.
The options available on setting up the colors of elements are represented in the table.

Define |
Display of all the elements and objects in the same color. Colors set during their configuration will be ignored. After enabling the Define option, the Color button becomes available, which allows to select the color of elements. |
Having completed setup of the color scheme, press the OK button. Click Cancelto discard all changes to the settings and exit the dialog.

Setup of colors for document display does not apply to the print preview mode (see section Print Preview). The background color in this mode is white, and the colors of objects depend on the print settings. |
