This dialog appears on the screen after calling the Edit – Replace... command.
It is possible to set parameters for searching and replacing for a substring in the text.

Find: |
Enter the substring you want to find in this field. If the search has already been performed, you can select one of the substrings in the list. |

Replace with: |
Enter the substring that you want to insert instead of the one found. If the replacement has already been done, you can select one of the substrings in the list. |

match case |
Enable this option if you want the system to distinguish between lowercase and uppercase letters when searching. |
|
Whole word only |
Enable this option if the specified substring should be searched only as a separate word in the text. |
|
Prompt to replace |
If this option is enabled, the system will ask for confirmation to replace each found substring. |
|
Direction |
Select the desired search direction in the text: Forward or Back. |
|
Start Search |
Set the desired beginning of the search in the text: From cursor or Text boundary. |
|
Replace all |
Click this button if you want to replace all the occurrences of a given substring in the text at once. |
After setting all the parameters, click the OK button to start the search and replacement. To exit the dialog without performing a search or replacement, click Cancel.
To continue the replacement with the specified parameters, call the Edit – Continue command or press <F3>.
