The default font to be used in a text document is selected in the dialog opened using the command Settings — Parameters... — Current Text Document — Default Font.

A similar dialog is used on setting up the default font:

in text captions of a graphic document (except the title block of a drawing),

in dimensions and designations of the model.

The Font dropdown list allows to select a font which will be used by default for text and tables in documents.

The Example field is used for displaying a sample of the selected font.

On completion of the set-up, press the OKbutton. Click Cancel to discard all changes and close the dialog box.

The selected font is used as the default for all objects of the document (document text, table header, a table cell, etc.). To select another font for an object (for example, for captions in surface finish designation, or for a table cell), select the matching item in the left-hand part of the dialog for setting up the parameters. In the right-hand part, there will appear controls of the dialog for setting up the text parameters. Enable the Different from Default Font option and select another font. Subsequent changes of the default font will not affect the font selected for an object. In case the Different from Default Font option is disabled, the default font will be again used for objects of this type.

For some objects, the Different from Default Font option is in the Font Parameters dialog fetched by pressing the Font... button.

When editing settings of the current document, change made are saved in the document, and the document objects are rebuilt automatically.

If during creation or editing of an object, a personal font was selected for it, then changes to the default font in the setup dialog of setup will not affect it.
