Parameters of text paragraphs for a text document are configured in the Document Text dialog, fetched with the command Settings — Parameters... — Current Text Document — Text Styles — Document Text.

Line Spacing, mm |
A field to enter the distance between the lines of text in a paragraph. Change of spacing allows for saving proportionality of distances between the lines, typed font of various symbol height (for example, when adding footers, comments, or notes into the text which were typed in a font much finer than the font of the main text). |

1st line indent, mm |
A field to enter the first line of paragraph. The indentation is measured from the text border. While creating a new paragraph, the cursor is automatically set into a position with a present indent. |

Indentations |
Fields to input distances between the left and right borders of the input field and the respective text boundaries. |

Spacing |
Fields to set distances between two neighboring paragraphs. This distance is a sum of two quantities – spacing after paragraph of the first paragraph and the spacing before the second paragraph. Setting spacings allows for selection of paragraphs in a text document for their best comprehension while reading, as well as for attraction of attention to especially important information. |

Alignment |
These options allow for selection of the required method to align paragraphs (by the left-hand boundary, by the right-hand boundary, alignment by two boundaries). |

A button to fetch a dialog for setting font parameters. |

Tabulation... |
A button to fetch a dialog for setting tabulation parameters. |

List parameters... |
A button to fetch a dialog for setting list parameters. This dialog sets the parameters of numbering of text paragraphs. |
On completion of the paragraph parameters set-up, press the OK button. Click Cancel to discard all changes and close the dialog box.
