Scaling — resizing the dimensions of an object: solid, surface, curve. It is performed relative to the specified center in three directions according to the specified coefficient. Points can also be scaled: the operation changes their position.

An object resulted from scaling can be involved in later operations (including the scaling operation) without restrictions. An example of scaling is shown in the figure.
