This dialog notifies you that the document occupied at the time of opening (and therefore available only for read), is now available for editing.
The full name of the document file is displayed at the top of the dialog.
A dialog appears when changes have been made to a document open for reading. The dialog control buttons let you select an action with the document file.

Save changes with new name and open file |
The option allows you to save your changes by writing the document to a file with a different name, and then open the document that has become available. After pressing this button, a dialog appears on the screen in which you need to enter the new file name. Enter the filename and click Save. The dialog closes; will automatically load and become the current original file. Thus, in KOMPAS-3D, two documents will be loaded simultaneously: the document that became available, which you attempted to open earlier, and its copy, saved under a different name and containing the changes you made. |
|
|
The use of the term “copy” in this context is conditional, since if a document was occupied by another user, then it is quite possible that they edited the document. |
|
Open file without saving any changes |
The variant allows you to discard the changes made in a document that is open for reading and open the document that has become available instead. |
|
Close |
Pressing this button or the x button in the upper right corner of the dialog means canceling any actions with the file of the current document. The dialog will close after this. |
