Setting up the model size is set up in the Model Sizedialog fetched with the command Settings — Parameters... — System — Model Editor — Size.

Controls of the dialog allow to set the types of model objects which should be considered while designing its dimensional parallelepiped – a conventional parallelepiped whose edges are parallel to the coordinate planes and run through the most remote points of model objects.

The bounding box is used, for example:

for running the command Show All (both in the mode of 3D designing and in the sketch mode) – the display scale changes so that the projection of the dimensional parallelepiped of model of the screen fit to the graphic region,

when centering the image after change of orientation of the model – the center of projection of a dimensional parallelepiped is aligned with the center of the graphic region.

To make the required type of objects be considered in construction of the model bounding box, enable the option to the left of the name of this type in the dialog. With the option disabled, the type of objects will not be considered.

It is impossible to disable all the – the last enabled option will be unavailable for disabling.

To make hidden objects of specified types be considered in determination of the model size, enable the Respect Hidden Objectsoption.

Having completed setup of the size, press the OK button. Click Cancel to discard all changes and close the dialog box.
