Cosmetic Thread |

On-screen display of cosmetic thread in a model (created by the using the special command or surfaces resulting from hole construction) is set up in the dialog Cosmetic thread. The dialog appears on the screen after calling the Settings — Parameters... — System — Model Editor — Cosmetic Thread command.

List of option for displaying the threads |
The drop-down list allows to select the option for thread displaying in the screen. The following options are available: •Image on edges and cone/cylinder thread (default option) — on the screen, an image approximated to reality of the threaded section and a framed thread cylinder/cone is displayed, •Only image on faces – only an approximate image of the threaded section is displayed on the screen, •Thread cone/cylinder only — on the screen, only the framed thread cylinder/cone is displayed. Draw Outlines |
Enable this option to make the lines of cylinder sketch depicting the thread in a model be displayed on the screen. With the option disabled, the thread is shown only with the edges of this cylinder (i.e. two circles). |

Line Style |
Options for selection of the line style to draw conventional image of thread in a model. Two styles are available: Solid and Dotted. |

According to GOST 2.056–2014, a thread in the model should be depicted as two dotted circles. |
The specified display settings are applied to all threads in the models.
To complete the thread display setup, click OK. Click Cancel to discard all changes and close the dialog box.
