A sheet solid can be created as a separate solid or merged with the existing one.

The shape of a sheet solid is defined by its sketch. The order of building the sheet solid depends on the type of the selected sketch – closed or open.

A closed sketch is extruded for a given width in the direction perpendicular to its plane.

The open sketch is extruded in one or both directions to a given distance; thickness is added to the resulting surface. Segments in the sketch form flat portions of the sheet solid, arcs form bends of respective radii, contour angles form bends with the user-defined internal radius.

If required you can use not the whole sketch but its part — an area obtained by intersection of the sketch sketch contours or limited by one of them.
