KOMPAS-3D is supplied with software development tools (software development kit, or SDK).
In case of a full KOMPAS-3D installation, SDK is installed on the computer unconditionally, and in case of a custom installation, enable the option Software Development Kit (SDK).
After SDK has been installed, it is located in the \\SDK subfolder of the main system folder. The description of the KOMPAS-3D application programming interface (API) can be viewed by invoking the KOMPAS-3D SDK command. The help system from the Start menu.
