A bend is created along one or more edges of the sheet part. An edge (edges) should be rectilinear and belong to the outer or inner flat face of the sheet part.
The specified edge is a bend base line, and its face (outer or inner) – a bend base face.

A phantom arrow showing the forward angle calculation direction is located on the left end of the edge. The side of the bend closest to the left end of the edge is also considered left, while the opposite side of the bend is considered right. Left and right sides should be distinguished when setting the bend width, bend extension length and setting the lateral side parameters.
