Bend by sketch is an element with multiple bends the profile of which is defined by the sketch contour. Angles of the sketch contour form bends with the user-defined internal radius, and arcs form bends with the radii equal to the radii of the respective arcs.
The bend is located along one rectilinear edge or a chain of rectilinear edges of the sheet part. The edge is a bend base line, and its face (outer or inner) is a bend base face.

Bend by Sketch
a) bend sketch, b) bend along one edge, c) bend along multiple edges
If the bend is built by a chain of edges, then edges are specified in the order of their location. The edges forming a chain can be joined by vertices or bends. In the latter case, in order to build a bend you should specify not only rectilinear edges but also their mating arc edges.
