General procedure for creating parametric images |
Scroll |
If the transfer of parametric mode If enabled, the constraints specified in the parametrization setup dialog are automatically generated by the system when objects are entered.
No special actions are required when building objects. However it should be considered that coincidences of points of the objects are parameterized through snaps made when these Snaps. No matter which snap was acting, a global or a local one. A point simply specified "close to" another point, without executing a snap, will not be parameterized. Point coincidence is also parameterized while dragging characteristic points of objects (through an executed snap as well).
|
In this case, a "point" is understood not as a geometric object but as any specified characteristic point of an object during its construction (starting and ending points of a segment, center point of a circle or an ellipse, etc.). |
Various additional constraints can be assigned to objects at any time when required. More details on the application of constraints manually...
While working with graphic documents associative detailing objects may be added. They are created in a regular way.
While working with dimension variables note the following. If dimensions belong to the current view of the drawing, this view is automatically rebuilt immediately after changing the values of variables on the Variables toolbar. To rebuild views which are not current, after editing variables or expressions run the rebuild command by one of the following methods:
•Call the Rebuild
command on the Quick Access Bar or from the menu Edit,
•press the <F5> key.
