Sections can be copied and moved only between the libraries. Only individual attribute types may be copied from library into a document.

When copying or moving sections and attributes between the libraries they are inserted into selected section of the library open in adjacent window.

Thus attribute type handling dialog lets you view, edit, delete attribute types both stored in the current document and outside it (in attribute type libraries). This dialog allows you to edit library structure as well as to copy and move attribute types between libraries and documents.

When editing table attribute types take following into account:

1.When making substantial changes in data structure description (such as moving, deleting or adding table columns, altering column value range, changing constant size table into variable size table etc.) system automatically removes the old attribute and creates a new one instead.

2.If changes to table attribute type parameters do not affect data structure (changes of type name, table column headers, lists of allowed cell values), then attribute type is not removed.

Deletion attributes of numeric and string type has no effect on attributes which use those types at all. However, if an attribute of table type is deleted, manually or due to structure editing, further editing of attributes which use this type will become impossible.
