Examples of placing sheets in the print field |

Example 1: the size of the sheets is approximately the same as the print page or is multiple of the size of the print page (e. g. printing A3 and A4 sheets on A4 pages).
1.Select a sheet of the size that approximately matches the size of the print page.
2.Adjust the scale of the selected sheet using the Fit scale...
command (see Section Sheet scale fitting).
3.Set the resulting scale for the remaining sheets.
4.Place the sheets in the required order in the print field.
5.Select all sheets.
6.Join and align the sheets using the Join and align selected sheets
.
7.Position the selected sheets in the nodes of the print pages using the Place Selected Sheets in Page Nodes
.
8.Check the sheets for overlapping using the Find Overlapping Sheets
.
Example 2: sheets are smaller than print pages (e. g. printing several A4 sheets on an A1 page).
1.Place all the sheets on the print page close by and without overlapping.
2.Select all sheets.
3.Join and align the sheets using the Join and align selected sheets

4.Adjust the scale of the selected sheets using the Fit scale...
command.
