If you are using the Russian keyboard detailing, the object will also be copied if you press the right <Alt> key while dragging it. |
To insert a component, follow these steps:
1.Specify whether to preserve the mates of the inserted component. To do this, select the Save matings switch:
•If the switch is set to position I (on), then when copying, the connections that link the copied components to each other and to the absolute coordinate system of the model are preserved,
•If the switch is set to position 0 (disabled), the component is copied without mates.
The switch is missing from the Parameters panel when moving a component using the mouse.
2.Specify the position of the component in the graphic area.
•If the component was moved using the mouse, the process is automatically completed after specifying the position.
•If you pasted a copied component or dragged a component with the mouse while holding down the <Ctrl> key, the object is pasted into the document. A message indicating the number of pasted components appears in the lower right corner of the graphic area.
The system is waiting for a new insertion location. Please make the required number of insertions.
3.To stop the command, click the Finish
button.
