To add a leader to an object, use the Object Leader command.

For macro-elements, this command is also available in its edit mode.

Step-by-step instructions

1.Select an object to add the leader. The name of the object is displayed in the Object field on the Parameters panel.

2.Set the starting point of the first branch of the leader.

A phantom of the leader will appear in the graphic area.

3.Set the attachment point of the leader to the object.

This point is attached to the object. Later, when the object is edited, the point is displayed as one of the defining points; if this point is displaced, the entire object is also displaced with it.

For precise positioning of the leader points, you can use snaps and geometrical calculator.
