Creating a new layer |
Scroll |
When creating new layers in a model, you can use the following methods:
•Create a single layer. To do this, click the Create layer
button in the toolbar of the Layers panel or use the command of the same name from the context menu of the root element. The new layer will appear in the Layers panel. By default, it is assigned the first available layer number.
•Create multiple layers at once using the Create layers
command, called from the context menu of the root element.
After calling the command, a dialog box appears asking you to specify the required number of layers. To confirm the operation, click the Create object
button. New layers will appear in the Layers panel. If the document already contains layers, the new layers will be assigned numbers, starting with N+1, where N — the largest number of the layer numbers available.
To exit the dialog without saving changes, click the Finish
button.
Please note that once created, a new layer does not become the current layer. You can make the layer current or change its state and other settings if needed.
