This dialogue allows find and replace fragment of text.

Find: |
Enter the substring you want to find in this field. If the search has already been performed, you can select one of the substrings in the list. |

Find next |
The button starts a text search. |
|
Replace with |
Enter the text you want to replace the found text. If the replacement has already been made, you can select one from the list. |
|
Replace |
This button replaces the found text with the text entered in the Replace with field. If the Replace with field is empty, clicking the button deletes the found text. |
|
Replace all |
Click this button if you want to replace all occurrences of a given fragment in the text at once. |
|
Direction |
Select the desired search direction in the text: Forward or Back. |
|
Start Search |
Set the necessary starting point for the search in the text: from cursor or text boundary. |
|
Case-sensitive |
Enable this option if you want the system to distinguish between lowercase and uppercase letters when searching. |
|
Entire word |
Enable this option if the given text should be searched only as a single word in the text. |
|
|
If the entered text is not found, a message about this is displayed in the dialog. |
To exit the dialog, click the Close button.
You can continue searching or replacing with the same parameters after closing the dialog. To do this, select Edit > Continue from the menu or press <F3>. Depending on which command was running before closing the dialog, searching or replacing will continue, respectively.
