Editing and upddating the copy of geometry objects |
Scroll |
When working with a model, you may need to edit previously created copies of geometric objects.
Copy editing is started in the Design tree by double-clicking on the copy operation, as well as by the command Edit
of the menu Edit or context menu.
Within the editing, you can change various copy parameters. For example, you can select a different copying method, change the set of copied objects, etc. These actions are performed in the same way as when creating copy.
If copy objects are used to build the model geometry, then in case of their replacement, in order to preserve the associativity of the geometry, it is necessary to establish a correspondence between the new result of the operation and the result that existed before the objects were replaced. Establishing a correspondence may also be necessary if the original objects remain the same, but their source has changed. Details about setting the correspondence...
During the design process, the original objects of the copy may change. These changes are transferred to the copy automatically or manually, depending on which update option was selected when creating the copy. If necessary, you can change the update option when editing the copy or using the context menu commands. Details about updating a copy...
If the model contains components, then it is convenient to use the process to work with copies Copy management. It allows you to quickly select the desired copies, including copies in components. Manual updating of copies and changing the update option are available during the process. You can also start editing the desired copy or the component it is included in.
