The position change operation allows to mode a solid or a surface to an arbitrary point of the model and rotate it to an arbitrary angle.
The operation result is a new object – a solid or a surface. Objects derived from the initial ("old") solid or surface remain associated with this solid or surface. A new solid or surface may be involved in subsequent operations (including position change operations) without any constraints.

a) body, surface and curve in the initial position, b) the result of the operation (the original objects are displayed)
The change in the position of a body, surface, curve or point is performed in a user-defined coordinate system (for the object coordinate system, see the section Object coordinate system).

The reposition operation applies only to bodies, surfaces, curves, and points constructed in the model itself (not in any of its components). |
