Managing the visibility of groups of objects (eg. groups of components) in a model that has layers, similar to the one described above. The current visibility state of a group of objects depends on the visibility state of the objects included in this group. More about current state of visibility of groups of objects...

You can also hide an object (or make a hidden object visible) using the Hide (Show) command, which is available from the object's context menu. If the selected object is already hidden (showed), the command is unavailable.

Please note that the entire body is always shown or hidden, even if a specific shape operation is selected when you invoke the Show or Hide command. For example, turning on the display of a glued extrusion element will cause the entire body containing that element to appear, while hiding the element will remove the entire body from view.

The same applies to surfaces. For example, showing or hiding a surface involved in a Knit surfaces operation will cause all other surfaces involved in the same operation to appear or disappear in the model's graphic area.

After calling the Show or Hide command for other objects (auxiliary axes, curves, points, etc.), only these objects appear or hide in the graphic area of the model.

Applying the Hide or Show command to an object changes the value of the object's Visibility property: it takes the value Hidden or Visible, respectively.

You can also change the visibility of the selected object (or objects) using the Visibility list in the section State of Parameters panel.
