Customizing the display settings of context bar is performed in the Context bar section of setting dialog.
To access the section, call the command Settings — Parameters... 
and in the dialog box that appears, select System — General — Context bar.

Show when highlighting |
The option allows to enable/disable appearance of the context bar when selecting an object and clicking on a free field in the graphic area of the document. |

Show when calling the context menu |
The option allows enabling/disabling the appearance of the context bar when the context menu is invoked in all cases except when the context menu is invoked during the operation of a command (in this case the context panel is not provided). If the Show on selection and Show on context menu invocation options are disabled, the context bar does not appear. |

Setting the order in which the context bar appears applies to all document types in which its use is enabled. |
After completing the settings, click Apply and close the dialog box. To exit the dialog box without changing the settings, click Cancel.
