Setting the scale in which editable captions and tables (including main captions) in graphic documents and editable tables in text documents of the system will be displayed KOMPAS-3D is performed in the Editing in a text editor section of setting dialog box.

To access the section, call the  command Settings — Parameters... and in the dialog box that appears, select System — Text editor — Editing in a text editor.

The Use drop-down list is used to select how to set the editing scale. The following options are available:

•Current document scale — display scale of the editable part of the inscription (table) corresponds to the current document scale. When you change the document scale, the scale of the editable inscription (table) is automatically changed.).

•Scale with limit — when reducing the document scale, the scale of the edited inscription (table) is reduced to a certain value. The required scale value is selected from the drop-down list in the field on the right.

•No less than small,

•No less than average,

•No less than big.

Scale up is not limited.

•Specified scale — the scale of the edited inscription (table) always corresponds to the specified value. The scale value is entered in the field or selected from the drop-down list to the right of the Use list. The manually entered value is added to the list and saved during the current work session KOMPAS-3D.

Example. The current drawing image scale is 0.2. In the dialog box, the Specified scale option is selected and a scale factor value of 1.0 is entered. When you double-click on the main caption of the drawing, the system will KOMPAS-3D will enter the editing mode. The main caption will be displayed in full size on the screen. When editing of the main caption is completed, the 0.2scale  will be restored.

After completing the settings, click the dialog box Apply and close. To exit the dialog box without changing the settings, click Cancel.
