Revision Table |
Scroll |
The BOM mechanism is used to create a revision table in a drawing. Generally, a revision table is similar to the BOM table displayed in the drawing.
The revision table is filled bottom up. Rows in the table are sorted in ascending order. Geometry from the drawing can be attached to the item of the revision table.
To use the above revision table in the drawing, the drawing shall have the detailing containing a revision table (RT) or a revision table with zones (RTZ). If the detailing does not contain the above tables, then special commands for creating and editing items of the revision table are not available. In this case, the part of the table in the title block, intended for the entry of data on changes in the document, is filled manually when editing the title block.
1.Select drawing one of the layoouts — Drawing constr. with TI. First sheet. GOST R .104-2023 or Drawing constr. with TIZ. First sheet. GOST R .104-2023 (TI — revision table; TIZ — table of changes with zones) from library Graphic_2023.lyt. You can also select designs with TI or with TIZ for subsequent sheets of the drawing.
2.Run the Management – BOM – Add Revision Table Object
command.
|
If there are several detailing sheets in the drawing with designations containing a revision table, then after calling the command, a dialog will appear on the screen for selecting a sheet to add the object in the revision table. The Add object to revision table command can also be called from the context menu on the sheet title block. In this case, the sheet selection dialog will not open; the object is added to the sheet for which the command was invoked. |
3.In the pop up dialog for selecting the section and item type, click Create.
4.Fill the cells in the pop up text entry box. If required, attach documents to the item.
5.Click the Create Object
button in the header of the Parameter Panel or the OK button in the text input window.
The filled line appears in the main table of the title block in the drawing.
|
If you select items in the drawing, including the modification designation, before calling the command, they will be included in the item geometry of the revision table. As a result, the number will be transferred from the revision table to the designation, and a zone designation will be transferred from the drawing to the table (if version with RT detailing was selected). |
1.Invoke the command Management — BOM — Edit objects of revision table
.
|
If there are several sheets in the drawing with detailings containing a revision table, then after calling the command, a dialog will appear on the screen for selecting a sheet to edit the revision table. The Edit Objects of Revision Table command can also be called from the context menu on the sheet title block. In this case, the sheet selection dialog will not open; the object is added to the sheet for which the command was invoked. Besides, you can double–click the table to switch to the mode of editing the revision table for a specific sheet. |
The system will switch to the subordinated mode for editing the items.
2.Create the missing items or edit the existing ones. In this case, you can attach documents to the item or add geometry, including the designation of the modification. To do this, use the same methods that are used when editing the BOM items in the drawing.
3.Leave the subordinate mode of items editing by calling the Finish editing of BOM objects command from the File menu or from the Exit toolbar.
Splitting the revision table into blocks
By default, revision tables in drawings are split into blocks, i.e. after a certain number of rows have been created, another block of the revision table is generated to the left of the title block and the new item is added to this block.
If required, you can disable splitting the revision table into blocks for each sheet of the drawing. To do this, use the Breaking down the change log into blocks command in the context menu of the title block on this sheet. If splitting is disabled, then all rows of the revision table are placed one above the other, forming one block. To enable splitting, call the relevant command again.
The following settings for splitting the revision table are available:
•enabling/disabling the default splitting — in Revision table settings dialog;
•configuring the number of rows in the first and subsequent blocks and the side of attaching the following block — in the Document detailing settings dialog. Please note that in order to transfer the changed detailing to the existing drawing first call the Detailing – Reread detailing command in the drawing.
