Notes on working with a local part and a local blank part |
Scroll |
The following features of working with a local part and a local part-blank can be distinguished, which distinguish them from other components:
•The user can control the display of objects in the Design tree that make up a local part or a local blank part. To do this, use the Show composition and Hide composition commands in its context menu. To enable/disable the display of the composition, call the corresponding command. The effect of the commands applies only to the objects of the Design tree.
•Editing «in place» is performed for a local part and a local blank part in the same way as for other components (see the section Component geometry editing «in place»),with the only difference being that when exiting the editing mode, there is no prompt to save the file. Editing on a separate tab is performed in a special mode.
•The local part and the local blank part are always fully loaded.
Changing the loading type for them is not possible.
The other working methods — shift and rotation, applying mates, setting properties, access control and others — are available to the same extent as when working with other components.
