The parameters of a parallelogram grid are the number of nodes, the grid step for each of its axes, the slope of the first axis, and the angle between the axes.

The elements for setting the grid parameters are in the Direction 1 — for the first axis and Direction 2 — for the second axis groups.

The Slope field specifies the angle of inclination of the first grid axis to the abscissa axis of the absolute coordinate system.

The Instances by direction field specifies the number of array instances along the corresponding grid axis. The specified number includes the original array instance.

The Distance between button group allows you to set the interpretation of the distance between array instances along the corresponding grid axis:

By adjacent instances — sets the distance between adjacent instances,

By extreme instances — sets the distance between the first and last instances.

The Distance 1 and Distance 2 fields specify the distance between array instances in the corresponding grid direction. The Change direction to the right of the Distance 1 and Distance 2 fields allows you to change the direction of grid build to the opposite.

In the Aperture angle field, the angle between the grid axes is specified.

The Distance between button group and the Distance 1/Distance 2 field are present in the Direction 1/Direction 2 group of items on the Parameter panel if the number of array instances in the corresponding grid direction is greater than one.

To set the grid parameters expressed in linear and angular values, you can use the commands of the geometric calculator.
