Data for BOM in assemblies and drawings. Data transmission |

Data for BOM in the document shall mean:
•the values of the properties of the product to which the document is issued – these values will be displayed in the title block of the BOM;
•values of the properties for the constituent parts of the product – these values will be displayed in the BOM table, they will be arranged into sections and sorted accordingly.
Property values can be set while editing the properties of document items (using the Properties command) or by creating or editing BOM items in a document.
BOM items can be created in assemblies and drawings. Later this document (assembly or drawing) will be connected to the BOM (file *.spw), as a result, it will be populated with data about the product and its constituent parts.
The document's BOM data can be viewed and edited in the Product BOM panel. The properties of the product's component parts can also be viewed and edited in the subordinate mode for working with BOM objects.
From the documents connected to the BOM and its objects, the properties of products and their components are transferred to it; from the drawing, the designations of the zones in which the shelves of the callouts are located can be transferred. In the opposite direction, item numbers are transmitted from the BOM to the connected documents.
In order for the BOM to get zone numbers from the drawing, and the drawing or assembly to get position numbers from the BOM, it is necessary that the position lines—callouts are included in the BOM objects.
Data transfer is performed automatically after saving the modified document.
