View in Arrow Direction |
Scroll |
To create a view in the arrow direction, you need a different view and the designation of the view arrow in it. Based on the existing model projection, a new one will be created on the plane perpendicular to the view direction. Thus, the result of constructing the view in the arrow direction depends in which view the view arrow is located (and where it points to), as well as on the model orientation in that view.
|
The view to which the arrow should belong is determined automatically based on the position of the created view arrow relative to the associative views available in the drawing. If this view is not current, it becomes current and the arrow is included in it. Please note that if the drawing views are overlaid, the view for the arrow may be defined incorrectly. |
Step-by-step instructions
1.Create an arrow showing the view direction using the View Arrow Direction.
After setting a view arrow in the associative view, the View in arrow direction command will start automatically.
If the desired drawing view already has a view arrow, call the View in Arrow Direction
command and specify the view arrow.
After you specify the view arrow, a phantom of the outline frame of the view is displayed in the graphic area, and the elements for setting its parameters – on the Parameter Panel.
2.The view in the arrow direction is in the projection link with its reference view, which restricts its movements. You can disable this link using the Projection link toggle switch. In this case, a view can be positioned in any place, as well as be rotated by a set corner – on the Parameter Panel, the Rotation angle field appears, where the value of angle is entered.
3.Set the name and number of the view using the respective fields. The number of the view can be any number other than the numbers of already existing views.
4.Set the scale of the view and the color of its display. Details...
5.If it is required to transfer the layers which are available in the model into a view, enable the Transfer Layers option.

2.If the reference view was created from an assembly with offset parameters configured, you can display that assembly in an offset view in the view you are creating. To do this, enable the option Explode Assembly Components.
3.If the reference view is created from a model that contains a sheet body and has unwrap settings configured, the sheet body can be displayed in its unfolded state in the view being created. To do this, enable the Flat pattern option.
4.Configure the rendering of view lines. Details...
5.Specify which designations should be automatically created in the views. To do this, in theCreate group in section Objects, enable the corresponding options in the Symbols in the drawing list.

6.Specify which labels should be automatically created in the form. To do this, in the Create Sections group under Objects, select the appropriate options from the list Symbols in the drawing.

7.Configure the view text. Learn more...
8.If you need to limit the area of the model projected into the view, set the Projection Depth switch to I (On). The boundary plane controls will appear in the Parameter Panel. Learn more...
9.Select the point which will be used as the datum point of a view. To that end, in the View Base Point group, click one of the following buttons:
Center of bounding rectangle or contour,
View Origins
13.Set the snap point of the view. To that end, specify the position of point in the graphic region using the mouse, or enter its coordinates in the Snap Point field of the Coordinates group on the Parameter Panel.
Creation of the view will be completed. In the graphic area, there appears an image of the view, and in the Drawing tree – its icon and the name.

If the reference view has a break, then the view in arrow direction is automatically built with a break. |
