Controlling the display of objects in the Tree

Scroll

The Drawing Tree displays a list of objects in the model projected into the view. The list can contain all objects in the model or only those actually visible in the view. To select how objects are displayed in the Tree, use the Show Only Visible Objects in Tree command. This command is available in the context menu of a view in the Drawing Tree.

If there is a check mark next to the command name, only visible objects are displayed. In this case, objects that are not in the view, such as those obscured by other objects or those outside the local view boundary, are excluded from the Tree list. If there is no check mark, the list contains all objects in the model.

To display only the objects shown in the view in the Tree by default, enable the option Show only visible objects in Tree in the New View Properties of the settings dialog. To access this section, call the command Settings — Parameters...and in the dialog that appears, select Current Document - Document parameters.
