Edit component «in place»

Scroll

Editing «in place» (in the context) — this involves editing the component on the model tab to which it belongs. At the same time, all other components (“surroundings”) are visible in the graphics area, and commands are available to pan and rotate the entire model, as well as to change its scale, orientation, and display type.

«In place» It is particularly convenient to edit those component objects that were created using a "context" (for example, an element extruded to the edge of an adjacent part or an auxiliary axis passing through the origin of another component). In other words, it is recommended to edit component objects that were created within the context of the model containing the component within the context of that same model.

When editing «in place» changes are made directly to the component file (part or assembly)—just as if the file were open in a separate window.
