Selecting copies in the model and its components |
Scroll |
To select copies in the Copy Management process, use the Method button group.
Select the desired method and configure the selection settings.
The following options are available:
Select all up to the specified level
Allows you to select all copies of the current model and its components up to and including the specified nesting level.
For this method, the Level list is displayed on the Options Panel. Use this list to specify the depth of the copy search. To do this, select the desired list entry or enter the level number manually. If the entered number is greater than the maximum number in the list, it will be saved in the list for the current session.
Select all by all levels
Allows you to select all copies of the current model and its components at all levels of nesting.
No additional settings are required.
Manual object selection
Allows you to specify the components from which copies will be selected.
For this method, the Components field is displayed on the Parameters Panel.
Specify the components from which copies should be selected. To do this, specify the components themselves or the objects belonging to them in the Construction Tree or in the model’s graphical area.
If a root element is specified in the Construction Tree, only copies created directly in the current model are selected.
|
Manual object selection is the default method. In addition, it is automatically enabled if at least one component was specified in the model before the process was started. |
Once the method is specified and the parameters are configured, the system automatically selects the copies in the model and its components.
The list of selected copies is displayed in the table Copy operation.
|
If the current model does not contain any components, all copies created in the model will be selected, regardless of the specified method. For the first two methods, copies are selected without any additional user action. For the third—the manual method—you must select any object in the Construction Tree or in the model’s graphics area. The name of the current model will then appear in the Components field, and the table will display all copies created within it. |
The selected method is retained for subsequent calls to the command during the current session.
