Setting up centralized storage for KOMPAS-3D reference systems and add-ons on the company's web server |

If necessary, the KOMPAS-3D reference systems and applications can be hosted on a web server within the company's local network.
1.Download the archive containing the reference systems from the ASCON help server at the following link: https://help.ascon.ru/Help_v25.zip. A link is also provided on the KOMPAS-3D Help System homepage.
2.Unzip the archive and upload its contents to the web server.
3.Create a config.xml file with the following content:
<settings> <onlineHelp>true</onlineHelp> <url>address of web-server</url> </settings> |
and place it on the users' workstations:
•Windows OS — in the %PROGRAMDATA%\ASCON\Helpserver folder.

The <onlineHelp> parameter must be set to true—this ensures that the online help (rather than the local help) is called from add-ons. |
When a hotfix or new version of KOMPAS-3D is released, please download the corresponding versions of the Reference Systems.
