Information about the ASCON Services software package |

The ASCON Services software package is designed to automatically compile a failure report on the ASCON software.
If the ASKON Services software package is not installed on your computer at the time of installing KOMPAS-3D, the option Participate in the Software Quality Improvement Program will appear in the installation dialog box. Selecting this option indicates your consent to install the package.

•If the ASCON Services software package was not installed during the installation of KOMPAS-3D, you can install it later by running the Ascon.CC.Setup.exe file from the Support folder in the KOMPAS-3D installation package. •During the uninstallation of KOMPAS-3D, the ASCON Services software package is not removed from the workstation. If necessary, it must be uninstalled separately. |
In the event of a malfunction of the ASCON software, a crash report will be generated. The report includes information about the status of the application and its associated binary files at the time of the crash, about the operating system, processor, RAM, and video adapter.
The report is sent to the ASCON Software User Support Service with the user's consent. The information collected is used only to analyze problems in the software and is not shared with a third party.
