You can move components:

from one subassembly of the current model to another,

from the current model to any of its subassemblies and vice versa.

When a component is moved, the reference to it is deleted from the model file containing the component and added to the model file to which it is moved.

The components are moved in the Design Tree by dragging the component line to the line of the desired object:

in the Components section of the current model — the component will be moved to the current model,

in the subassembly or its Components section — the component will be moved to the subassembly.

Components can be transferred one by one or in a group.

To move the component, move the cursor to its line, click the left mouse button, and, without releasing it, move the cursor to the line of the desired object.
To move several components, select them in the Design Tree by clicking on them while holding down the <Ctrl> key or the <Shift> key. To move to any of the selected rows, move the cursor to it, click the left mouse button and, while holding it down, move the cursor to the row of the desired object.

As you move, the cursor takes the form of a four-headed arrow . When transferring several components, their quantity is displayed next to the cursor.

If the component can be moved to the selected object, then when dragging the line of this object is highlighted in green, and if it cannot be moved the line will be highlighted in red.

After the component is moved its position in the model will not change.

Components that are source objects or instances of arrays cannot be moved.

Moves of components cannot be undone. To return an object to its previous location move it to the parent subassembly or to the Components section of the current model.
