A BOM item may contain information that appends the information included in the standard form. This information is stored in the so-called "additional columns" of the BOM item. They can be viewed or edited at any time, but they are not visible on the BOM sheet and are not printed.

An example of information in additional columns is the mass and price of the item.

In the additional columns you can also enter any other information about the item (OKP code, material, text comment, etc.). Their number and structure depend on the user’s needs and are stored in the BOM style (see section BOM style).

The data in the additional columns of the BOM item can be viewed and edited in the Advanced section on the Parameter Panel.

The section contains a list of possible types of additional columns for this BOM and their values relating to the current BOM item.

To enter or edit a value in the additional column, click in the corresponding field and enter the required data.

Service commands allow summing up the numerical values of advanced options, and the number of identical items in the assembly and even the number of items in its various versions can be taken into account. To learn more about summing up values in additional columns, see section Sum values in the BOM columns..
