Using BOM mechanisms to create other documents

Just as a drawing document (*.cdw file) may contain not just the drawing, but also a schema or a poster, a BOM document (*.spw file) may contain a specification, a list, etc.

A variety of parameters and settings, in particular the ability to use a custom form, allows creating not only the BOMs compliant with GOST. Mechanisms of the BOMs design module can be used for working with various specifications, lists, and folders.

In the general case, a BOM document is a table with rows of various information, with separate areas for placing each type of information (a form column, or an additional column). The resulting lines can be numbered, sorted, linked to documents and graphic items, etc.

By combining various settings, you can create BOM styles to fill in the specification sheets, lists of reference documents, lists of purchased products, connections diagram, revision logs, and other documents.
