Preparing to generate a report |

Preparations for generating a report include preparing the graphic objects and models to be used in the report, as well as creating the report style or style library and general system settings for KOMPAS-3D.
•In the course of preparing objects, a certain set of property values needs to be conferred to them. To learn about properties in reports, see section Properties for the report.
•Report style setup includes setting the parameters to define the report’s appearance. Report styles may be pre–created and saved in the library. To learn about working with report styles, see section Report Styles.
•System settings for KOMPAS-3D include setting the parameters required for report placement in documents. To learn about system settings, see section Settings.

For introductory work, preparing for the creation of a report is optional. You can use the system settings for KOMPAS-3D by default. |
