Setting up dimensions in a document |

In KOMPAS-3D, such dimension parameter values are set which are most frequently used in the design documentation.
To modify these parameters for designations in the current document, invoke the Settings – Parameters... — The current drawing (fragment) — Dimensions command.
The selected settings are stored in the current document and are not changed when the document is transferred to another workplace.

If changing dimension settings in the current document is not desirable for some reason, you can set up a combination of parameters to be used by default when creating dimensions until the session is over. To do this, when you set the first dimension of each type (linear, angular, etc.), configure it as required and select the Remember setting command and Remember caption from the button menu |
If the same dimension parameters are used in most cases, you can create each new document with the required settings by default. To do this, make the necessary settings in the BOM template file. More details about templates...
